The
department of mining and energy as well as
pertamina at Indonesia encourage carrying out Crude oil
refinery as soon as possible because:
|
1- |
The demands for fuel and other products of Crude oil
refinery is increasing day by day. Analysts
say that, Indonesia will rely on imports 40% of its
oil fuel requirements in 2010, up from 30% at
present. Also domestic consumption of oil fuel grew
1.5% in 2004 to 1,131 barrels per day (bpd) in Crude
oil. |
|
2- |
The local consumption of Indonesia of refinery
products is approximately 1,000,000 Bpd. And
since the capacities of the established refineries
In Indonesia are 700,000 Bpd, therefore Indonesia is
importing the products of refinery (The remaining
300,000 Bpd) from other countries. |
|
3- |
The actual local market for diesel is 200,000 bpd.
So our mission is to establish new oil Refinery to
meet the needs of the Indonesian people and develop
a highly trusted workplace for Them. |
